With the new on line appointment system and the fact I couldn't get an appointment with my own doctor in a short time because I was in severe back pain I decided to give Latrobe emergency a go, thank god I did, can not speak more highly of them, very friendly, professional staff and waiting time was very little difference to my doctors.15/9/2018Back to Latrobe hospital because of on line appointment AGAIN! thank god I did this time for my wife, I can't peak highly enough on the staff that work here.They went out of their way to ensure that every possible was covered,ct ecg blood the lot.Big thanks to all staff now I am relieved

Takes longer to fill out 8 pages of repetative paper work than the procrdure under local anaesthetic
4 stars for the emergency room Dr and staff. As for the other areas, don't get me started. 1 star: Outpatient clinic is a joke, long wait times, crappy, rude doctors who don't want to listen and want it there way or not at all. Choose wisely when you're here. 1star: pathology, long wait times any time of day. 1 star: per admission clinic. Extremely long wait times.3 stars: X-ray staff are excellent, in and out. Very friendly and accommodating.
