Getting my car serviced here is so easy, and the people are very friendly. Arranging a drop off to work is easy and I always get picked up on time too.
Absolutely terrible VW service department. Mechanics do not communicate with service representatives who have no idea. Problems are only found after persistent requests to have them looked at. Complete waste of time and money. Staff have an arrogant approach and absolutely no consideration is given to communicating timeframes and expectations. Cannot speak about the sales department but NEVER use VW Rex Gorell for servicing.

Called in Saturday enquiring about purchasing a New Ford Ranger, spoke to a sales person who showed very little Interest in my Interest, I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I thought everyone may be busy,I went to Winter and Taylor Holden, a complete different experience, sales person welcomed me at the door, sat down with a cup of coffee to discuss my vehicle requirements, test drove one of their vehicles, however I really wanted to purchase a Ranger, so I called back Monday to Rex Gorrell Ford, 3 salesmen walked pass me, not one acknowledged my presence in the showroom, I had to go find someone to assist me, again no real Interest in selling me a vehicle it all seemed to be all to hard, I called over to service department as I had to discuss details of my current Vehicle, they are very good in that department, I mentioned to them my experience in the showroom, they emailed one of the salesmen to contact me, 3 days later still no contact, I have now been forced to travel to Melbourne to get assistance in buying a new Ranger, lift your game Rex Gorrell Ford, check out what your competitors are doing and learn from them.
Buyer bewareRex Gorell Land Rover (Geelong) is selling a Range Rover Sport. I had a signed contract subject to a mechanical inspection when at last minute was denied to have the car inspected by our preferred mechanics and gave me my money back. I was told the car was bought from them and traded back to them as the owner passed away and it was too big for the old lady. I later discovered the car was traded by another dealer and they bidded for it at an auction yard.Days later the car is back on the market and now they are telling buyers the man that bought it wanted a more powerful model. They can't even hold the same lie....... Great work Guys!!!!! Perfect example of typical car salesmen.
